-- Can't start PropPack: Microsoft Access can't be Started - unable to initialize Windows Registry
Last Updated 3 months ago
Do NOT re-install Microsoft Office.
This error comes up every time Microsoft installs an update to Office.
The resolution is very simple.
Just right-click on the PropPack green tree icon and select 'Run as Administrator'.
if your green tree icon is only on the task-bar, first right click on that, then right-click again on the green tree icon that pops-up, and then select 'Run as Administrator'.
If your PC has been secured by your IT department then you may need to call them to enter the Administrator password.
Once this is done then there will be no need to do it again till the next time MS install an update to Office.
