How to Export a Report to Excel or Word

It is very simple to export a report into Excel or Word.

Just preview the report to the screen and select the X button on the menu-bar at the top.

This should work with any simple report.

You may need to tidy up some of the columns manually.

Where a report is 'complex' the result may take a lot of cleaning up to make it meaningful.

This is a built-in MS Access facility and we have no control over it. If it works then good but if it does not then unfortunately there is no way to export that complex report into Excel. You can't fit a square peg into a round hole.
